Enercity AG, a German energy provider, plans to construct a wind park with a capacity of 200 megawatts (MW) in a region of Saxony, Germany in order to provide green electricity to more than 155,000 households in the area. A cooperation agreement between Enercity and the local company Forst Rohne, which owns the land plot that will be used for the park, has been signed.

The project will be carried out in two stages. The first phase involves the installation of four turbines with a combined capacity of 24 MW. In the second phase of the project, Enercity will erect 29 wind turbines in the forest with a combined capacity of 174 MW.

The project will consist of up to 33 wind turbines. It is anticipated that once the wind park is fully operational, it will generate 540 million kWh of green electricity annually.
