Genex has executed a supply agreement with Tesla to use its Megapack technology for the Bouldecombe Battery Project (BPP) in Australia-
Located near Rockhampton in North Queensland, the project consists of a 50 MW/100 MWh battery storage system and will include 40 Tesla lithium-ion batteries.
The Megapacks are expected to be delivered during 2022, with full operation scheduled for 2023.
