The Lake Wells hybrid renewable power generation complex consists of a gas-fuelled power generator with photovoltaic (PV), wind, and battery energy storage facilities for a combined generating capacity of 35 MW. The project has a 4.5 MW solar capacity, 9 MW wind, 9 MW energy storage, 10.7 MW of gas, and a 2 MW diesel power generation set.

The microgrid project will be built in stages. The developers are now preparing to complete the power purchase deal.
