Iberdola has completed the acquisition of the 190 MWac/245 MWdc Avonlie solar photovoltaic project in Australia from RES Group.
Located 20 km south of Narrandera, New South Wales, the project consists of 667,000 photovoltaic (PV) panels mounted on either a fixed or single-axis tracking system with a 10 MW/10MWh battery storage component. The plant is currently under development, and construction is expected to commence before the end of 2022.
