RES Group has secured the development permit from the Department of Planning & Environment of the New South Wales Government for the construction of a 200 MW solar park with a battery storage component in NSW’s Riverina region.
The project consists of 667,000 photovoltaic (PV) panels mounted on either a fixed or single axis tracking system with a 10 MW/10MWh battery storage component.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy will build the project with an estimated commissioning before the end of 2021.
