The State-owned General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) and the Renewable Energy Authority of Libya (REAoL) have signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with AG Energy for a 200 MW Ghadames solar photovoltaic park that will be built in Ghadames, Libya.
The initiative is part of the collaboration between GECOL and REAoL that aims to increase the country's potential for green energy and attract private investment in renewable energy.
