AG Energy has obtained authorization from the Libyan Privatization and Investment Board (PIB) and the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) for the construction of a 200 MWp solar photovoltaic power plant in Ghadames, Libya.
The facility will be located in Ghadames, about 650 km from the capital Tripoli. It is mainly a pilot project for the authorities who want to attract private investment in renewable energy in Libya.
