TotalEnergies has signed a preliminary agreement with the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) and the Renewable Energy Authority of Libya to develop a 500 MW solar photovoltaic project located in the northern region of As Saddadah.
The project will be equipped with a total of 1.2 million solar panels. Once operational, the solar farm will contribute to the country's energy mix.
