Empresas Gasco SA has completed the acquisition of a 100% stake in Copiapo Energia Solar SpA, a unit of Solar Reserve Chile Ltda, controlled by developer SolarReserve LLC.

Copiapo Energia Solar SpA is currently developing a 150 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Chile’s Atacama region.

The deal will be subjected to the permitting process, securing the financing and approval from the board of directors.
