EVN AG has planned to build a 42 MW Palterndorf-Dobermannsdorf wind project located in the Gänserndorf district, in Lower Austria.
The project consists of seven units of 6 MW wind turbines, five of the turbines erected in the municipality of Neusiedl/Zaya and two in the municipality of Palterndorf-Dobermannsdorf. It is expected to produce energy to supply the demand consumption equivalent of almost 36,000 households
The project was originally planned to consists of 13 wind turbines, then reduced to almost half and still produce practically the same amount of valuable green electricity with seven systems.
