Eurus Energy Holdings Corp has announced the completion of the the 20.4 MW Eurus Ishinomaki wind project located on the ridge of Mt. Jyobon and Mt. Kagobo, in Ishinomaki city, Miyagi perfecture.
The project comprises six Siemens wind turbines, each rated at 3.4MW capacity. All generated energy will be sold to Tohoku Electric Power Co., Ltd.
Commercial operation has started from December last year. The power plant will supply electric power equivalent of about 10,000 households and is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by about 19,000 tons annually.
