European Energy, a Danish renewables developer, has secured the necessary funding in order to develop the 38.8 MW Liskowo wind project in the northwest region of Poland. Its grid connection is planned for the first half of 2023.
The company has given the contract to construct the wind farm, which is estimated to cost EUR53 million (USD53.8 million), to a consortium that includes Onde SA and P&Q.
In Poland, European Energy operates wind turbines with a total capacity of 40 MW, and the company has projects under development to increase that capacity by 91 MW.
