Energias de Portugal SA (EDP) has disclosed plans to acquire Polish distributed generation (DG) solar company Zielona-Energia.com.
EDP will now own a company that operates more than 58 MWp of DG solar arrays in Poland. The target market for Zielona-Energia.com is small and medium-sized enterprises, including educational institutions, workplaces, and agricultural facilities.
The acquisition of Zielona-Energia.com will allow EDP to strengthen its position in the Polish distributed solar energy market which it entered in 2020.
