General Director of PJSC “Enel Russia” Carlo Palasciano Villamagna and Chairman of the Executive Board of Eurasian Development Bank Andrey Belyaninov exchanged tombstones at the ceremony, dedicated to the signing of the agreement on financing the wind farm construction, within the framework of 13th Annual International Conference on Eurasian Economic Integration.
The loan agreement was signed between LLC “Enel Rus Wind Azov”, the fully-owned subsidiary of PJSC “Enel Russia”, and Eurasian Development Bank on November 8th, 2018. The loan agreement for the amount of 9.5 bln roubles (US$144 million) was concluded in order to finance the project on the construction of Enel Russia’s wind farm with the total installed capacity of 90 MW in the Rostov region, which is due to be commissioned in the end of 2020.
The wind scheme is comprised of 26 units of SG 3.4-132 wind turbines that will be installed in stages. The plant will generate around 300 GWh per year, offsetting the emission of around 99,200 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere.
