Fortum and Rusnano to increase 35 MW windfarm to 50 MW

Fortum and Rusnano will increase a 35 MW windfarm in Ulyanovsk region to 50 MW. The expansion is expected to be carried out in the first quarter of 2019. The plant's original capacity of 35 MW was put online last January this year.

The construction of the 50 MW second phase is not underway. The foundation and roads and delivery of materials and equipment are ongoing.

Both Fortum and Rusnano owned the project having 50% stake in the wind farm.
