South African power utility Eskom has launched a request for proposal (RFP) tender for the Leasing of Land in Mpumalanga for the development of up to 100 MW independent power producer (IPP) for renewable energy projects.
The lease will be for a minimum period of 20 years. Eskom is set to provide a connection up to the nearest network connection point. The land will remain the property of Eskom throughout the duration of the lease.
The deadline for the submission of the proposal is on April 29, 2022.
