Eolus has applied for an environmental permit for the Grindtorpet wind farm in Nybro municipality with up to eight wind turbines, 210 million kWh can be produced annually.
Nybro municipality has designated part of the proposed wind farm area as suitable for wind power, and there are no nationally protected areas within the site. Eolus has submitted an environmental permit application to the Environmental Assessment Delegation at the Kalmar County Administrative Board. Nybro municipality will be consulted on whether to approve the project assessment. If granted a permit, the Grindtorpet wind farm is expected to be constructed and operational by 2031.
