Envision Energy and the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) have signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the 55 MW Mongla wind project located in the Bagerhat district, Bangladesh.
The wind farm will feature 171-4.5 MW Envision turbines and is anticipated to be completed by 2024. The energy that will be produced by the project will be used in the Mongla region and will contribute to the annual reduction of about 110,000 tons of CO2 emission.
