Joules Power Limited plans to build a 20 MW solar photovoltaic project that will be constructed on 75 acres of land which is submerged in water for most time of the year in the northern district of Mymensingh in Bangladesh.
The developers intend to invest up to US$22 million to construct the solar farm. The construction of the project is expected to start in January 2023 with the target commissioning before the end of the year.
Joules Power secures backing from the World Bank-financed Investment Promotion and Financing Facility II to develop the project.
