Energy Focus SA has submitted its environmental impact study (EIS) for the planned development of the 364 MW La Punta wind farm project located in the commune of Mostaza in the O’Higgins region of Chile.
The project will be developed for a total investment of up to US$400 million. It will consist of up to 65 turbines each with an estimated generating capacities of 5.6 MW. The project will be connected to a 23-kilometerers transmission line.
The wind farm is expected to commence its operation by 2023.
