Energiequelle GmbH has started the operations of the 11.75 MW wind project in La Chapelle-Glain, in the Pays de la Loire region in the Loire-Atlantique department, France.

The project was developed and built by P&T Technologie, a subsidiary of Energiequelle, and was successfully commissioned in September of 2020.

The wind farm comprises five E-92 type Enercon turbines with a total output of 11.75 MW and will supply approx. 7,600 households. It will operate under a fixed feed-in tariff contract over a period of 20 years.

P&T Technologie received the building permit for the project back in September 2016 but initially had to undergo extensive legal action. Following a positive conclusion, construction began in September 2019.

The project was acquired by Encavis Infrastructure Fund II, which is advised by Encavis Asset Management AG. The contract was signed on the 3rd week of October 2020.
