Energiequelle GmbH has started the construction of 15 MW Villers-le-Tourneur wind farm located in Grand-Est region, close to the Belgian border, France.
The project consists of Five N-117 Nordex turbines, each with a hub height of 91 meters, expected to supply almost 10,000 households with electricity each year in the future. The French Energiequelle subsidiary P&T Technologie is responsible for construction.
The project was acquired from the pipeline of the Leipzig-based project developer Green Energy 3000 GmbH, who is supporting in Villers-le-Tourneur on site.
Cable and road construction work is currently taking place on-site so that foundation construction can begin in November. The wind farm is scheduled to be commissioned in July 2021.
