German full-service investment bank Berenberg, through its Berenberg Green Energy Junior Debt Funds I, II, and III, has extended debt financing for the development of a 28.5 MW wind farm project in Finland.
The Takanebacken wind project will be installed in the municipality of Maalahti in the Ostrobothnia region. The facility will have five N163 wind turbines of 5.7 each capacity supplied by Nordex which will also deliver a 30-year service to the project.
