Endesa, through its renewable energy arm, Enel Green Power España (EGPE), has connected to the grid the 35.99 MW Campoliva I in Villamayor de Gallego, Zaragoza province. The total investment is EUR40 million (US$44.1 million).
Campoliva I features 11 wind turbines fully installed on July 2019. The facility is expected to generate some 108 GWh annually, equal to the consumption needs of 33,000 families, while avoiding the annual emission of 71,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere.
