Enel Green Power Espana (EGPE) has commissioned and connected the 50 MW Sierra Costera I wind farm to the electricity grid.
The Sierra Costera I is located in the province of Teruel, in the region of Aragon. EGPE invested about EUR45 million (US$50.25 million) on the project.
The plant features 14 turbines and anticipated to generate about 141 GWh per year, offsetting 93,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
