Disa Renovables to build 10.45 MW Rosa de la Arena solar PV project in Canary Islands

Disa Renovables, part of DISA Group, is soliciting public feedback for the proposed 10.45 MW Rosa de la Arena solar photovoltaic project in Puerto del Rosario on the island of Fuerteventura in Canary Islands, Spain. 

The company is set to invest about  EUR 5.7 million (US$ 6.3m) in project development. 

The solar farm consists of the following:

  • 33,840 Units. Canadian Solar-MaxPower (1500 V) CSU6-340P G4 brand PV modules of 0,340 kWp. Peak power 11,505.56 kWp.

  • 3 Units. Power Electronics FS 3300K brand power station of 3630 kW. Includes inverter, transformer FSK02KI and medium and low voltage switchgear for connection to the photovoltaic system and the power grid. Nominal power 10,450 kWn.

  • 3 Units. 954 m underground lines with 3x (1x300) mm2 conductors Al RHZ1 12/20 kV with the origin at each power station and final Elevator Substation 20/66 kV.

  • 1 Unit. 20/66 kV Lifting Substation with 20/66 kV transformer with a power of 20 MVA.

  • 1 unit. 1,300 m underground evacuation line with 3x (1x50) mm2 conductors Al RHZ1 12/20 kV with origin in 20/66 kV Lifting Substation Mojeque and final 66 Kv Collector Substation (not part of the project).

  • The connection point: future Puerto del Rosario Substation 66 kV REE
