Norvento Enerxia has completed the installation of the final turbine for the Carracedo onshore wind farm and announced it is finalizing the assembly work on the of six wind projects totaling 128 MW of capacity.
The Sasdónigas 1 & 2, Neda, Carracedo, A Pastoriza and Cadeira with a total capacity of 128 MW has been awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Industry in the tender of May 2017.
The six wind farm is located in the province of Lugo, in Galicia region. They are expected to generate electricity enough for a municipality of 90,000 inhabitants in a year.
The six wind farms represent a total investment of more than EUR150 million (US$165.7 million). Norvento has obtained part of the funds from Banco de Sabadell, while the European Investment Bank has agreed to provide EUR40 million (US$44.19 million) for four projects in the lot.
