Norvento Enerxia has completed the turbine installation for the 34.65 MW Neda onshore wind farm project located in the province of Lugo, Spain.
This wind farm has an investment of EUR27.3 million (US$30.2 million). Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA supplied ten units of the SG 3.4-132 model, each unit has a capacity of 3.465 MW and a blade diameter of 132 metres, which is expected to generate an annual energy production of 125,000 MWh.
All ten wind turbines have now been installed at the park located in the north-west of the country. The Neda project is in the advanced stage of construction and is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
