Enel Green Power Chile, a unit of Italian energy developer Enel SpA, has terminated its partnership with Tozzi Latam Spa for the development of a 382 MW solar photovoltaic facility located in the Atacama region of Chile.
The cancellation of the contract is associated with the repeated breaches of the contract of Tozzi that is linked to the construction of the solar project.
The construction of the project has started in August 2019. Enel is expected to invest about US$320 million with the planned commissioning before the end of 2020.
Enel will continue the construction services to complete the project.
