Enefit Green's installed production capacity has reached 1 GW, following the opening of the Silalė II wind park in Lithuania, completing the Akmenė wind farm, progressing with the Kelmė I and II projects and installing turbines at Sopi-Tootsi wind farm in Estonia.

Enefit Green's installed production capacity has reached 1GW, following the significant expansion:

  • Enefit Green laid the cornerstone for the foundation of the Kelmė II wind farm, which also marks a milestone for the neighboring Kelmė I wind farm. Construction of foundations is underway at Kelmė II, with turbine installation scheduled for Q2 2025. At the Kelmė I wind farm, all turbines have been installed.
  • The company has completed the installation of all 38 turbines at the largest wind farm in the Baltics, the Sopi-Tootsi wind farm. To date, 12 turbines at the Sopi-Tootsi wind farm have delivered their first electricity to the grid.
  • Enefit Green has invested nearly EUR 60 million (US$ 66 million) in the Šilalė II wind farm which consists of 12 General Electric wind turbines. The nominal power of one wind turbine is 3.6 MW and the diameter of its blades is 137 m. The wind turbine generator and gearbox are in the nacelle at a height of 131 m. The highest point of the wind turbine above the ground – the height of the tip of the blade – is approx. 200 m. The total capacity of the wind farm is 43 MW and its expected annual output is 160 GWh.

Enefit Green’s operating capacity is 587 MW. There are 637 MW of new capacities under construction, of which 459 MW have been installed to date, of which about 204 MW is producing electricity.
