Nordex Group has received a 264 MW turbine order from UAB Renerga for a wind project it is constructing in the west of Lithuania.
The 264 MW Pagėgiai wind farm project involves the installation of 40 N163/6.X turbines from the Delta4000 series. These turbines will be mounted on tubular steel towers, with 29 towers having hub heights of 118 m and 11 towers with hub heights of 113 m.
Renerga, a subsidiary of the Achema Group, is a pioneer in renewable energy in Lithuania. The agreement also encompasses a maintenance contract. Infrastructure activities are set to commence in June 2024, while turbine delivery and installation are slated to begin in the spring of 2025. Completion of the wind farm is anticipated by 2026.
