Encavis AG has acquired the 14,1 MW Zierikzee solar park in the province of Zeeland, Netherlands. The facility was connected to the power grid at the end of 2018. The electricity generated by the park is sold long-term for 15 years for a fixed price of EUR0.11 (US$0.13) per kilowatthour.
The solar facility is located in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It supplies power to supply 4,700 households. Encavis expects the Zierikzee solar park to generate annual revenues of roughly EUR1.4 million (US$1.6 million) as of the first full year of operation.
The total investment including project-related financing costs amounts to EUR10.6 million (US$11.8 million). The unnamed seller holds a remaining share of 10 percent in the solar park.
