Greenchoice, Windunie and the ABN AMRO Energy Transition Fund have jointly acquired a 100% stake in De Wieken, a private company that will develop DeVeenwieken wind project in the Dutch province of Overijssel.
The project involves the construction of 14.1 MW wind farm in the Dutch province of Overijssel. The wind farm will have ten windmills. It is powered by 99-meter high Enercon wind turbines. Construction is scheduled to start in the first half of 2019 and the first green power is expected to be supplied by the end of the same year – to around 10,000 households a annually.
Triodos Bank is providing the funding of the scheme.
