Eiffage SA has been awarded the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for the development of a 250 MW Campanario solar photovoltaic facility located in Bonete, Albacete province of Spain.
The EUR120 million (US$140.4 million) contract was awarded by Elawan Energy. The facility consists of five adjacent solar parks with 50 MWp each capacity installed on 400 hectares of land with about 563,000 solar modules.
The project is expected to be operational by the end of 2021.
