Enel Green Power (EGP), a renewable energy developer unit of Enel Group, has started the commercial operation of the 29.4 MW Castelmauro wind farm project located between the municipalities of Castelmauro and Roccavivara, in the province of Campobasso, Italy.

The project consists of seven 4.2-MW wind turbines that are expected to generate up to 70 GWh of clean energy per year and offsets about  36,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions annually.

EGP has partnered with local companies in the construction of the wind farm, particularly in civil works, services, and maintenance.
