Eesti Energia enters agreement to acquire 19.15 MW of portfolio in Poland

Estonian state-owned energy company Eesti Energia AS has signed an agreement to acquire 20 solar park projects with a total capacity of 19.15 MW in Poland.

Of the 20 projects to be acquired, 9 solar parks are already completed. The remaining plants are in the final stages of construction and will be completed by autumn. Enefit Green's investment amounts to EUR17.3 million (US$19.4 m) 

All solar park projects are owned by Solaque Holding Ltd, constructed and operated by GEO Solar Sp. z o.o. - both affiliate of GEO Group operating on Polish renewable energy market.

In Estonia, the company operates under the name Eesti Energia, while using the brand name Enefit for international operations.
