EDP Renovaveis SA starts the commercial of the 252 MWdc (199 MW) Pereira Barreto solar photovoltaic facility located in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The project consists of 600,000 PV panels that can generate up to 547,000 MWh of energy per year and offsets about 150 tonnes of carbon emission annually.
