EDP Brasil has entered into an agreement with AES Brazil to acquire AES Inova, a distributed generation investment platform, and its distributed solar photovoltaic projects in Brazil.
The deal covers about 34 MWp solar portfolio for BRL177 million (US$31 million) investment located in the states of Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo, and Minas Gerais.
Approximately 16 MWp are contracted and commercial projects while the remaining 18 MWp are ready-to-build solar facilities in Minas Gerais.
