Brazil energy regulator Aneel has approved the start of commercial operation of the 25.2 MW wind project of the energy developer Engie Brasil Energia.
The Campo Largo IX is part of the 361.2 MW Campo Largo II Wind Complex that is being developed in the municipality of Umburanas in the state of Bahia.
The wind complex will consist of 86 V150 4.2-MW wind turbines supplied by Vestas Wind Systems. Full operation is expected by the third quarter of 2021.
