Edelweiss fund, Sekura Energy acquire majority stake in 813 MWp solar portfolio in Engie

Edelweiss Infrastructure Yield Plus Fund (EIYP), a fund managed by Edelweiss Group, and Sekura Energy have entered into an agreement with Engie for the acquisition of a 74% stakes in the 813 MWp solar photovoltaic portfolio located in France. 

The portfolio consists of 12 solar photovoltaic plants. 

The finalization of this transaction, subject to the usual conditions linked to this type of transaction, should take place during the first half of 2020 and will allow ENGIE to reduce its net debt by more than EUR400 million (US$443.62 million).
