Atlantique Offshore Energy-led consortium has launched the construction of the electrical substation for the 480 MW Saint-Nazaire offshore wind power plant currently being developed off the coast of the Guerande peninsula in France.
General Electric and DEME Offshore have carried out the job at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire. By the summer of 2021, the consortium will ship the parts to the wind farm.
Saint-Nazaire offshore wind project is owned by EDF Renouvelables and Enbridge Inc.
