Duke Energy commissions 120 MW solar PV project in Idaho

Duke Energy has commissioned the 120 MW Jackpot solar photovoltaic (PV) project, which is the largest solar power plant in Idaho, USA.

Under the terms of a 20-year power purchase agreement, the PV farm located in Twin Falls County will provide electricity to Idaho Power (PPA), contributing to its goal of generating 100% renewable energy by 2045. The solar farm will generate enough electricity annually to meet the needs of approximately 24,000 houses. 

The solar project will be owned and operated by Duke Energy.
