DTE Energy has started the operation of the 168 MW Polaris wind project located in Gratiot County in Michigan, USA.
The facility consists of 68 wind turbines that can generate enough power for more than 64,000 homes. Polaris will offset more than 355,000 metric tons of CO2e annually.
