First Solar signs PPA for 100 MW Rabbitbrush solar project

First Solar has signed a long-term power purchase agreement for the development of the 100 MW Rabbitbrush solar photovoltaic plant in California, USA. 

The 15-year PPA was signed with the Bay Community Power (MBCP) and Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE).

The project is currently being developed in KErn County. It is set to be operational by 2022. The facility will include a 20 MW battery storage capacity.
