Ohio Power Siting Board has approved the construction of an 80 MW ground-mount solar system. The proposal was submitted by a subsidiary of Lendlease Group.
Located on about 610 acres of land in Brown and Clermont Counties in southwest Ohio, the Nestlewood Solar Facility will be equipped with 300,000 modules which are expected to generate approximately 175,000 megawatt-hours of electricity each year. This energy is sufficient to meet the energy needs of approximately 16,000 households.
The project is scheduled to be completed this year.
