Downing LLP has completed the acquisition of the 30 MW Konttisuo onshore wind farm project located in Soini in the region of Southern Ostrobothnia, Finland, and announced the start of its operations.
The wind farm will generate enough electricity each year to power the equivalent of about 37,000 British households. It was constructed by Energiequelle, which will also provide long-term technical and commercial management services.
Nordex supplied turbines for the wind farm and has a 25-year contract to offer long-term maintenance services for the project.
