CIT Group serves as the lead arranger for the US$200 million financings for the development of a 149 MW Big River solar photovoltaic facility in White County in Illinois, USA.
The project is being developed by D. E. Shaw Renewable Investments (DESRI), a unit of D. E. Shaw Group.
The project’s 149 megawatts of alternating current power are contracted under multiple purchase power agreements for most of the next two decades.
