CVE secures an approval for the construction of 9 MW Casablanca solar PV project in Los Vilos

CVE Proyecto Diez SpA, a company affiliated with CVE, has secured approval for the construction of the 9 MW Casablanca solar PV project in the town of Caimanes, in the municipality of Los Vilos, Coquimbo, Chile.]

The Environmental Evaluation Commission of the Coquimbo Region has approved the construction of the US$12 million Casablanca solar project.

The Casablanca photovoltaic park will consist of around 25,536 photovoltaic panels on 17 hectares of land. It is expected to generate enough energy to provide for 9,000 homes in one year.
