Cloudberry, Hafslund to set up JV for 100 MW shallow-water wind project in lake Vanern

Cloudberry Clean Energy ASA has entered into an agreement with Norwegian power group Hafslund AS for the joint development of the 100 MW Stenkalles Grund shallow-water wind project being built in Lake Vanern, Sweden.

Under the agreement, Hafslund will purchase a 50% stake in Cloudberry Offshore Wind AS, which indirectly owns the Stenkalles Grund project. The transaction is anticipated to close in September, subject to all necessary paperwork being in order and Hafslund carrying out confirmatory due diligence.

The final investment choice is planned for the end of 2022, while the wind farm is expected to be operational by 2025.
