Clenera has secured financial close for its 105 MW DC Apex solar photovoltaic project located in Beaverhead County in Montana, USA.
The construction financing will be secured from the Bank of America and German lender NORD/LB while the long-term financing via sale and leaseback tax equity financing will be provided by the Huntington National Bank after the project is put into operation.
Apex Solar farm will supply clean energy to NorthWestern Energy's customers in the state of Montana under a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA). The Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) generated by the plant will be sold separately. The project is expected to be operational by the second quarter of 2023.
